Vice-Adm. ret. R.N., and a Knight of Grace of the
Order of St. John of Jerusalem, was Director-Gen. of
the Medical Department R.N. 1908-13, and Hon.
Physician to H.M. King Edward VII, 1909-10, and
has been Hon. Physician to H.M. King George V.
