And this is the thing that thou shalt do unto them to hallow
them, to minister unto me in the priest's oiBce : Take one young

cakes unleavened tempered with oil, and wafers unleavened anointed
with oil : of wheaten flower shalt thou make them. And thou
shalt put them into one basket, and bring them in the basket, with

and the robe of the ephod, and the ephod, and the breast-plate, and
gird him with the curious girdle of the ephod : and thou shalt put

Then shalt thou take the anointing oil, and pour it upon his head,
and anoint him. And thou shalt bring his sons, and put coats
upon them. And thou shalt gird them with girdles Aaron and
his sons and put the bonnets on them ; and the priest's office shall
be theirs for a perpetual statute : and thou shalt consecrate Aaron
and his sons.

And thou shalt cause a bullock to be brought before the

the unleavened bread that is before the Lord : and thou shalt put
all in the hands of Aaron, and in the hands of his sons ; and
shalt wave them for a wave-offering before the Lord. And thou
shalt receive them of their hands, and burn them upon the altar
for a burnt-offering, for a sweet savour before the Lord : it is an
offering made by fire unto the Lord. And thou shalt take the
breast of the ram of Aaron's conseci-ation, and wave it for a wave-
offering before the Lord : and it shall be thy part. And thou shalt
sanctify the breast of the wave-offering, and the shoulder of the
heave-offering, which is waved and which is heaved up, of the
ram of the consecration, even of that which is for Aaron, and of

by a statute forever from the children of Israel : for it is an heave-
offering : and it shall be an heave-ofiering from the children of
Israel of the sacrifice of their peace-offerings, even their heave-

And the holy garments of Aaron shall be his sons' after him, to be
anointed therein, and to be consecrated in them. And that son that
is priest in his stead shall put them on seven days, when he cometh
into the tabernacle of the congregation to minister in the holy place.

And thou shalt take the ram of the consecration, and seethe
his fie^h in the holy place. And Aaron and his sons shall eat
the flesh of the ram, and the bread that is in the basket, by the
door of the tabernacle of the congi-egalion. And they shall eat
those things wherewith the atonement was made, to consecrate and
to sanctify them : but a stranger shall not eat thereof, because
they are holy. And if aught of the flesh of the consecrations, or

his foot, and sanctify it. And thou shalt bring Aaron and his sons

of Israel, and say unto them. If any man of you bring an offering
unto the Lord, ye shall bring your offering of the cattle, even of
the herd, and of the flock. If his offering be a burnt-sacrifice of
the herd, let him offer a male without blemish : he shall offer it of
his own voluntary will at the door of the tabernacle of the congre-

And lie shall flay the burnt-ofFering, and cut it into his pieces. And
the sons of Aaron the priest shall imt fire upon the altar, and lay
the wood in order upon the fire : and the priests, Aaron's sons,
shall lay the parts, the head, and the fat, in order upon the wood
that is on the fire which is upon the altar. But his inwards and
his legs shall he wash in water : axib tl}C priest sljall bum all on
tl)c altar, to be a burnt-sacrifice, an offering mabc bn fire,

And if his ottering be of the flocks, namely, of the sheep, or
of the goats, for a burnt-sacrifice ; he shall bring it a male without
blemish. And he shall kill it on the side of the altar noilhward

off his head, and burn it on the altar : and the blood thereof shall
be wrung out at the side of the altar : and he shall pluck away his
crop with his feathers, and cast it beside the altar on the east part,
by the place of the ashes : and he shall cleave it with the wings

did with the bullock for a sin-oflTering, so shall he do with this :

When a ruler hath sinned, and done somewhat through ig-
norance against any of the commandments of the Lord his God
concerning things which should not be done, and is guilty ; or if
his sin, wlinreiu he hath sinned, come to his knowledge; [)C sljall
