Postscript.

After the consideration of the Orchidaceae was printed
(pp. 134-204) a very important contribution to our knowledge
appeared in Ames' and Schweinfurth's " Orchids of Mount Kinabalu,
British North Borneo" (Ames, Orchidaceae 6 (1920) xiv and 1-233,
t. 80-97). In this paper 222 species are enumerated, including 110
described as new, These new species are ascribed to the genera
Habenaria, Chlorosa, Goodyera, Kuhlhasseltia, Vrydagzynea, Nephela-

phyllum, Coelogyne, Dendrochilum, Pholidota, Nabaluia (gen. nov.)
Malaxis, Oberonia, Liparis, Arundina, Dendrobium, Eria, Ceratostylis,
Agrostophyllum, Chilopogon, Appendicula, Bromheadia, Phaius,
Calanthe, Bulbophyllum, Thelasis, Eulophia, Grammatophyllum,
Cymbidium, Thrixspermum, Trichoglottis, Maileola, Sarcanthus, and
Microsaccus. A number of species previously described from extra
Bornean material are also ascribed to Borneo for the first time. This
brings the number of orchids known to occur in Borneo from 656 as
stated on p. xv. above, to 776.
