(daughter of William Barrett and Susan James of Monmouth-
shire, South Wales, pioneers, July 4, 1875, independent com-
pany). She was born March 16. 1837. Their children:

Louisa Haws; George Edwin, m. Dora White; John Samuel,
died; Eliza, m. Thomas Shipley; Martha, m. Thomas Law-
rence Walter. Lived at Provo and Spanish Fork, Utah.

Watchman at the Provo woolen mills several years; coal
miner; farmer. Died Nov. 7, 1875.

FOOTE, THOMAS JOHN (son of Thomas Foote and Eliza
Barrett). Born Nov. 4, 1860, at Spanish Fork, Utah.

Married Sarah Louisa Haws Nov. 12. 1884, at Logan, Utah
(daughter of Amos Whitcomb Haws and Mary Elizabeth
Bean, of Provo City, Utah). She was born April 20. 1866.

FORD, ALFRED CHARLES (son of Charles and Hannah
Ford of Tipton, Staffordshire, Eng.). Born Sept. 28 1833
at Tipton. Came to Utah in 1847.

Married Matilda Rasmussen Dec. 26, 1864, at Salt Lake
City (daughter of Rasmus Rasmussen and Johannah Holen-
berg of Trillaborg, Sweden; pioneers 1861). She was born
Nov. 13, 1838. Their children: Hannah Matilda, m Charles

(daughter of Edward Toone and Caroline Jackson of South
Wales). Came to Utah Nov. 7, 1877. from Liverpool, Eng..
with William Paxman company. She was born Sept. 26,
1872. No children.

Ordained an elder Dec. 13, 1896. Carpenter; builder; farm-
er and fruitgrower.

New York). Born March 8, 1798, New York City. Came to
Utah November, 1850, Edward Hunter company.

Married Anna Bibblns Chaffee (daughter of Amos Chaffee

1843, at Ashford, Conn.). She was born March 24, 1811 at
Ashford Conn. Their children: Lidda Lovina d. infant;

Joseph Hyrum, m. Rhoda Ann Baldwin. Family home Mon-
rloe, Utah.

High priest. Called to help settle the "Muddy." Early
settler to Sevier county and also to St. George. Sailor and
Bhlp-calker; painter. Died Sept. 25, 1889.

FORSGREN, JOHN ERIK (son of John Oluff Forsgren, born
Oct. 17, 1793, and Anna Christina Hollstrand, born Nov. 24,
1786). He was born Nov. 7, 1816, Gefle, Sweden. Came to
Utah Oct. 16, 1847, with a part of Co. D, Mormon battalion.

Married Sarah Bell Davis (daughter of William Davis and
Sarah McKee), who was born April 15, 1829. Their children:

Olsie Olson company). She was born Nov. 27, 1835. Their

ter of John Barker and Margaret Freeland, of Carlisle).
She was born Oct. 14, 1815, Glasgow, Scotland. Their chil-

High priest. Put up machinery for woolen factory at
Canyon Creek and managed same until he moved to Ogden

FORSYTH, ANDREW BARKER (son of John Irwin Forsyth
and Sarah Barker). Born Feb. 4, 1847, Port Richmond, Pa.
Came to Utah with father.

11, 1807, Lynn. Norfolk, Eng. Came to Utah in 1853.

Married Amelia Chaplin (daughter of William Chaplin),
England. She came to Utah in 1863 with Joseph Young
company. Their children: William H., m. Eunice Neslen;
Sarah, m. Thomas Heath. The family home was Salt Lake
City.

wich, Eng. Came to Utah in 1852. Died Oct. 16, 1896, Salt
Lake City.

Married Eunice Neslen Dec. 28, 1865, at Salt Lake City
(daughter of Samuel Neslen and Eunice Francis, of Lowes-
toft, Suffolk, Eng.). She was born July 15, 1838. Their

Ungar; Eunice Amelia, m. J. C. Lyon; Agnes Neslen, d. in-
fant; William Neslen, m. Nellie West; Robert Francis, died;

Woolnough of Harleston). She was born Nov. 23, 1820, and
