Beekmantown. Came to Utah October, 1852, William Mc-

Married Esther Angel March B, 1837 (daughter of William
Angel, born May 10, 1784, Dewn Ampney, Gloucestershire,
Kng., and Esther Cofflngbourne, born May 8, 1784, Dinton-
ehlre, Eng.). She was born April 10, 1816, in England, and

Married Maud Wallace July, 1905, in Arizona, who was

Watermaster at Thatcher, Ariz.; canal constructor in
Oregon and Arizona. Timber contractor; expert miner and
prospector. Member Modern Woodmen of America.

PEARSON, EPHRAIM JOHN (son of Jacob Pearson and
Rhoda Ewers of Brookfield, N. Y.). Born Oct. 28, 1825,
Brookfleld. Came to Utah July 29, 1847, with section of
Mormon Battalion under command of Capt. James Brown.

Married Nancy Ann Foutz Dec. 5, 1848, Salt Lake City
(daughter of Jacob Foutz and Margaret Munn of Jemper
City Franklin county, Pa.), who was born May 21, 1826.

Salt Lake City, pioneers July 3, 1865). She was born Sept.

1857-58. Built first two-story building in Utah, outside of
Salt Lake City. Rescued a company of California gold-
seekers, who had been lost on Great Desert. Farmer. Died
Aug. 12, 1858, Salt Lake City. '

PEIRCE, ELI HARVEY (son of Ell Harvey Pelrce and
Susannah Neff). Born Sept. 27, 1861, Salt Lake City.

Married Lydia May Snow at Salt Lake City (daughter of
Lorenzo Snow and Mary E. Houtz of Brigham City, Utah,
pioneers). Their children: Pearl Snow b. July 18, 1884, m.
Howard Eugene Smith; F. Dolores b. Dec. 12, 1887, m. Wal-
ter H. Handin; Ramona May b. June 17, 1892; Ella Har-

Married Henrietta Madson June 20, 1888, Logan, Utah
(daughter of Adolph Madson and Mary Wagner of Brigham
City and Salt Lake City). She was born Dec. 13, 1863. Their
children: Pansy Adina b. May 6, 1893. m. George W. Ked-
dington; Harvey Adolph b. Aug. 27, 1894; Earl Wagrner b.

and treasurer Salt Lake Choral Society, organized in the
90s, and chairman board of control of the new choral so-
ciety, which succeeded the old one In 1906. Stationmaster
and operator for Utah & Northern R. R. at Ogden. Engaged
In fire insurance.

(daughter of Tilla Hubbard and Hulda Theadotia Parish),
who was born 1838. Only child: Hulda Amelia b. Dec. 5.

Married Hannahette Mower March 28, 1868, Salt Lake City
(daughter of Henry Mower and Mary Amic of Sangamon
county, 111.; former pioneer 1851, Abraham Day company,
