Married Electa Caroline Briggs In 1838, Nauvoo, 111.
(daughter of Allen and Elizabeth Caroline Briggs of Michi-
gan), who was born Jan. 26, 1805. Their children: Alma
A., m. Sophia Katz; Emily E., m. Edward Stevenson; Eliza-
beth C., m. James Montgomery. Family home Farmington,
Utah.

Member 10th quorum seventies; high priest. Died Octo-
ber, 1882.



WILLIAMS, ELIAS WILLARD. Born June 26, 1818, Whit-
Insville, Mass. Came to Utah Aug. 1, 1854, independently,
with his family and that of A. Snell.

Married Lucy Hendricks. Their children: Ellen, m. Asa
Bartlett York; Mary, m. Benjamin Franklin Johnson, m.
Isaac McDonald Kolb; Ellas Willard, Jr., b. April 19, 1858,
m. Ida Jane Bascom; Charles Oson Slbley (adopted) b. Feb.
15, 1848. Family resided Salt Lake City, Springville, Provo
and Mona, Utah.

Seventy. Settled at Salt Lake City, moved to Springvile,
to Grafton, to Provo, to Mona, thence to Vernal, Utah.
Worked on Salt Lake City Temple. Justice of peace, Mona,
for several years. Painter, cabinetmaker and Ironworker.
Oldest man in county when he died April 30, 1905 (in his
eighty-seventh year).

thenshire, Wales). Born June 15, 1805, in Wales. Came
to Utah 1861.

Thomas Jeremy and Sarah Evans of Caermarthenshire),
who was born Aug. 10, 1817. Their children: Thomas J.,
m. Ellen Eccles; Mary, m. Louis Howell; Wiliam N., m.
Clarissa Smith; Sarah J., m. Hugh Watson; David J., m.
Annie Ridges; Esther C., m. Robert H. Hastam. Family

Block teacher. Gardener and farmer. Died in 1893.

WILLIAMS, WILLIAM N. (son of Evan Williams and Sarah
Jeremy). Born March 17, 1851, in Wales. Came to Utah
with father.

Married Clarissa Smith July 17, 1877, Salt Lake City
(daughter of George A. Smith and Susan E. West, of Salt
Lake City, pioneers July 24, 1847, Brigham Young com-
pany). She was born April 21, 1859. Their chilren: Clar-

born Nov. 17, 1823, Warrensville, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio. Came

Married Henriette Elizabeth Crombie Aug. 15, 1847, St.
Louis, Mo. (daughter of John Crombie, born Nov. 17, 1800,
Chester, N. H., and Elizabeth Pope Philips, born Aug. 18,
1804, Boston, Mass.). She was born Sept. 27, 1827, in Bos-
ton. Their children: Lucy Ellen b. Sept. 30, 1848, m. W. R

1858, m. Delia Huffaker April 3, 1879. Family resided Salt
Lake City and Ogden, Utah.

His father was appointed second counselor to Joseph
Smith March, 1832, the first in that office, and was presi-
dent of flrst high council 1834. Ezra Granger was baptized
by Joseph Smith and confirmed by Hyrum Smith; member
3d quorum seventies; missionary to White Mountains, Ariz.,
and Smithfield, Utah, during Indian troubles. Practicing
physician. Died Aug. 1, 1905.

WILLIAMS, FREDERICK GRANGER (son of Ezra Granger
Williams and Henriettaa Elizabeth Crombie). Born March
29, 1853, Salt Lake City.

Married Amanda Burns 1876, Salt Lake City (daughter of
Enoch Burns of Eden, Utah, pioneer). Their children:

in Pennsylvania, and Elvira Martha Fullmer, born Oct.
14, 1839, Nauvoo, 111.). She was born Sept. 30, 1857, Salt

and Roma (twins) b. Nov. 21, 1904; Mary b. Aug. 22, 1907.

WILLIAMS, OWEN (son of John Williams and Ann Davis
of Eglwys Bach, Denbigshire, Wales). Born April 3, 1804,
Waynffechen, Eglwys Bach, Wales. Came to Utah Septem-
ber, 1860, Captain Home company.

Married Ann Thomas 1835 at Llafyllin, Montgomery, Wales
(daughter of John Thomas and Cathren Vaughn). Their

Jones of South Wales; former born 1761, latter 1759). He
was born April 10, 1826, Brecknockshire, Wales. Came to

Married Ann Price in November, 1850 (daughter of Daniel
Price), who was born April 10, 1826, and died tn Wales.

1854, Darwin Richardson company). She was born March
30, 1826, died June 27, 1897. Their children: John, m. Mary

1882, m. Neils C. Hansen; Ervin Kimball b. April 10, 1887,
m. Ingry Lucinda Bunderson; Edward E. b. March 20, 1889,

Married Annie Kristena Larson Aug. 18, 1881, Salt Lake

Mayfleld ward; superintendent Sunday school at Mayfleld.
Worked on St. George and Manti temples. First lieutenant
in cavalry in Black Hawk war. Constable of Ephraim 12
years. Assisted in bringing immigrants to Utah. Man-
ager of Co-op. Store at Mayfleld. Moved to Emery 1894,
where he acted as marshal and school trustee. Freighter
and miller.

WILLIAMS, ERVIN KIMBALL (son of John Williams and
Ma'ry Christina Overlaid). Born April 10, 1887, Ephraim,
Utah.

Married Ingry Lucinda Bunderson June 22, 1910, at Manti,
Utah (daughter of Peter Victor Bunderson of Sweden and
Sena Nielson of Denmark, who came to Utah in 1872). She
was born Oct. 14, 1888. Their child: Dorris b. July 2, 1911.
