Cayuga county, N. Y. Came to Utah 1850.

Married Sally Ann Snider Jan. 24, 1830, who was born Oct.
22, 1816, at husband's birthplace, and died Feb. 8, 1896,
Thurber, Utah. Only child: George, m. Rosannah V. Cutler.

He died March 4, 1875, Glendale, Utah.

BRINKERHOFF, GEORGE (son of James Brinkerhoff and
Sally Ann Snider). Born Oct. 29, 1852, Centerville, Davis
Co., Utah.

Married Rosannah V. Cutler Nov. 5. 1879, St. George, Utah.

Ordained bishop of Thurber ward June, 1882, and again
July 29, 1906; ordained an elder and high priest June, 1882;
missionary to eastern states Nov. 22, 1887. Settled at St.
George 1862; moved to West Point, on The Muddy, Nev.;
returned with that colony to Glendale, and then to Thurber,
Utah, in 1879.

ette Frieyers). Born Dec. 18, 1818, Preston, Lancastershire,
Eng. Came to Utah Aug. 20, 1868, Chester Loveland com-
pany.

Married Elizabeth Ellbeck in 1847, Benton, Torkshire,
Eng. (daughter of John Ellbeck and Mary Brockbank of
Torkshire). She was born May 12, 1819. Their children:

(daughter of John Taylor and Ann Maria Sager of West
Bromwich, Staffordshire, Eng., pioneers June 4, 1866). She
was born April 15, 1847.

lumberman.

Lancashire, Eng.). He was born Aug. 26, 1836, at Oldham.
Came to Utah Sept. 4, 1859, George Rowley handcart com-
pany.

Married Sarah Dixon (daughter of Samuel Dixon and
Hannah Perseful), who was born Sept. 8, 1832. Their chil-
dren: Joseph Samuel b. Nov. 3, 1863, m. Amanda Tweedie;
John James and Edward William b. Jan. 25, 1877, m. Ellen
Condor. Family home Lehi, Utah.

Married Elizabeth Greenwood Jan 26, 1889, Logan, Utah
(daughter of James Greenwood and Hannah Turner), who
was born Oct. 25, 1863, Lancashire, Eng.

Married Sarah Lee April 8, 1897, Salt Lake City (daughter
of George Lee and Sarah Peaker, of Sheffield, Eng., pioneers
Sept. 16, 1859, Edward Stevenson company). She was born
Dec. 25, 1852, in England and came to Utah with her
parents.

Settled at Lehi, and served as choir leader and Sunday
school teacher for 35 years; member missionaries aid com-
mittee nine years. Black Hawk Indian war veteran.

BROADBENT, JOSEPH SAMUEL (son of Joseph Broadbent
and Sarah Dixon). Born Nov. 3, 1863, Lehi, Utah.

Married Amanda Tweedie at Logan, Utah (daughter of
Christian Frederick Tweedie and Cristena Peterson, pio-
neers 1857, handcart company). She was born March 11,
1862, American Fork, Utah. Their children: Joseph Leslie
b. June 3, 1891; Sylvester Daniel b. June 7, 1893; Hugh Wil-
liam b. Feb. 17, 1899; Nevin Edward b. March 26, 1901.

Married Annie Shaw Jan. 10, 1906 (daughter of Hugh

Married Rosena Singleton July 19, 1870. Salt Lake City
(daughter of Francis Singleton and Amelia Ann Williams
of Portsmouth, Ens., pioneers Nov. 2, 1864, Warren Snow
company). She was born April 17, 1852. Their children:
Amelia S. ; Julia; Mary; Phoebe; Cora Melinda; Jane A.
Loue; William F.; Alice.

Married Caroline Whiting 1879, Salt Lake City (daughter
of Edward and Elizabeth Whiting of Springville). She was
born 1853. Their children: Elizabeth; William.

Married Beulah Chipman March 1885, American Fork.
Utah (daughter of Washburn and Margaret Chipman of
American Fork). She was born 1862. Their children: Leah;

Eng.), who was born March 16, 1834, Ditchet, Eng., died
May I, 1871, Salt Lake City. Their children: Thomas, killed

Alice Alston, m. Annie Caroline Anderson, m. Hertha Natalie

BRODERICK, ALFRED JOSEPH (son of Thomas Begshaw
Broderick and Elizabeth Hilyard). Born Dec. 21, 1859, Salt

Utah (daughter of Joseph Alston and Margaret Hall of
American Fork, Utah, oxteam pioneers). She was born
April 16, 1863, and died Jan. 30, 1888. Their children: Jen-

b. Nov. 4, 1883, d. Infant; Alfred Leonard b. Feb. 27, 1886,
