WHAT WAS ACCOMPLISHED.
TRANSFEB OF MEMBEESHIP.
The following resolutions, No. 33, offered by Grand Representative
Stocker, of Washington, were adopted:
"Resolved, That a member of the Order in possession of an Official
Certificate or Visiting Card changing his residence from the territorial
jurisdiction of his Lodge or Encampment to the territorial jurisdiction
of another, and desiring to unite with a Lodge or Encampment at his
new place of residence, upon making application for membership, ac-
companied by his Official Certificate or Visiting Card, showing his dues
paid in advance, and being elected as provided by local law [and official
notice being sent] to his Lodge or Encampment, said Lodge or Encamp-
ment shall, unless charges are pending against him, without ballot and
without fee, issue a Transfer Certificate and send the same, at once, to
the Secretary or Scribe sending for the same; and upon receipt of the
Transfer Certificate, the member shall be entitled to sign the Consti-

tution and become a member of his new Lodge or Encampment without
the payment of any additional fee; Provided that, if a physician's
certificate is required, he must pay the expense of the same.
