SUMMARY OF S. S. ENROLLMENT

During the year there were enrolled an average
of 639 scholars in grade A, 134 in grade B, and
275 in grade C; a total of 1,048 scholars. All
told, scholars, teachers and superintendent, 1097
persons.

There were present every Sunday an average of
44 teachers, 834 scholars and 41 visitors; a total
of 919 persons.

The Home Department at the close of the
fourth quarter had a membership of 14, and the
Cradle Roll Department 151.

The enrollment of the Sunday School, Home
Department and Cradle Roll Department at the
close of the fourth quarter consisted of 1240
members.

EXTRACT FROM THE CONSTITUTION

OF THE CHURCH

Each church member shall be in duty bound
actually to contribute, according to the measure
of his temporal means, to the needs of the gen-
eral expenses of the church, to the care of the
poor, to home and foreign missions, and to the
spread of the Kingdom of God in general and the
furtherance of our denomination.

Since the general expenses of the church vary
according to varying needs, therefore the annual
business meeting shall decide how much the per
capita tax as well as the per centum according to
, property valuation shall be for the ensuing year
on each member over twenty-one years old, so
that the taxing will be an equitable one according
to God's Word.

The church tax shall be paid to the treasurer
not later than the first of December, (p. 5.)

The per capita tax for male adults for 1919
was $2.00.

The tax on all property owners for 1919 was
$1.50 per $1,000.
