Mrs. Pha'be Blackman died at Long Hill,
Trumbull, in November. 1844, at the a,ge of twenty-
four, when our subject was but six months old.
She was the youngest in a family of four children.
The last survivor, Sarah, widow of Henry I'latt,
died in P.ethel, Conn., June 4, 1901, aged eighty-
