Township of York containing fifty Acres which was former-
ly granted to Matthew Austin and by him given to his
Daughter Isabella the first Wife of me s'* Samuel Bragdon
and afterwards viz March 13. 1715/16 confirmed unto me
at a legal ToAvn Meetins; then holden in York and lies on
the South Side of the Land formerly granted to M' Rish-
worth bounded as follows beginning at a great White (Jak
Marked four Sides standing on the South East Side of the
AVay to Sturgeon Creek and then running South South
East one hundred and twenty Pole to a Pine marked four
square and then West South West sixty seven Pole to a
white Oak Tree marked four Scjuare then North North
West one hundred and twenty Poles to a Avhite Oak marked
[307 J four square standing on the South Side of the Way
aboves'' and then East North East to the White Oak first
mentioned as by York Town Book may appear To have and
To hold the s'^^ granted and bargained Premisses w'^'' ail the
Appurces Priviledges and Coinodities to the same belonging
or in any wise appertaining to them the s'^ Henry Sim})son
and Josiah Linscot in severalty and to their res})ective Heirs

Behoof forever And I the s'' Sam' Bragdon for my self my

Cailile Consideration of the Sum of One hundred and twen-
ty four Pounds currant Money of New England
afores'' to me in Hand before the Ensealing hereof well and
truly paid by John Carlile of s'' York Gentleman the Receit
whereof I Do hereby acknowledge and my self therew"' ful-
ly satisfied contented and paid and thereof and of every Part

One Messuage or Tract of Land situate lying and being in

lies between Beniah Young and the s'' Joseph Young on the
South East Side of the Road leading from the Ferry cofnon-
ly known by the Name of Traftons Ferry along the Road
leadino: to York Meetino- House bei>innini:: at said Corner at
a small yellow Ash Tree marked on four Sides and running
along s'' Road as s*' Youngs Fence now lies till it comes up
to the Corner where; the s'' Road turns away at a small Brook
about South Easterly and running along on the South West
Side of s'' Road joyning to s'' Road as the s*^ Youngs Fence
now lies till it comes to the Corner Bounds between s^^ Jo-
se})h Young and John Bradbury it being a small Tract of
Land that the s'^ John Bradbury bought or purchased of the
s'' fJosc})h Young then running and joyning along by s*^
Bradburys Bounds till it comes to the Old Fence formerly
made between s'^ Joseph Youngs Father Robert Young and
Rowland Young and from thence running along by s*^ Fence
West North West on a Strait Line by Benaiah Youngs
Fence till it comes to said Corner where it first began at con-
taining thirteen Acres by Estimation be the same more or
less To liave and To hold the s'' granted and bargained Prem-
isses with all the Priviledgcs Ap[)urces and Comodities to
the same belonging or in any wise a})pertaining to him the
s'' John Carlile his Heirs & Assigns forever to his and their
