To the Inhabitants of the Town of Stark In the County
of Coos In said State, qualified to vote in Town
Affairs:
You are hereby notified to meet at Starlc Town
Hall in said Town on Tuesday, the Fourteenth day of
March, next at nine of the clock in the forenoon, to
act upon the following subjects:
1. To choose all necessary Town Officers for the
year ensuing.
2. To raise such sums of money as may be neces-
sary to defray town charges for the ensuing year and
make appropriations of the same.
3. To see what sum of money the Town will vote
to raise for current expenses.
4. To see what sum of money the Town will vote
to raise for Election and Registration expenses.
5. To see what sum of money the Town will vote
to raise for Insurance.
6. To see if the Town will vote to raise the sum
of $100 for Police Department expenses.
7. To see if the Town will vote to raise the sum of
$500 for Fire Expenses of the Town.
8. To see what sum of money the Town will vote
to raise for:
(a) General Expenses of the Highway Dept.
(b) Snow Removal
(c) Maintenance of Tarred Roads
(d) Town Maintenance
(e) Town Dump
9. To see if the Town will vote to accept State
Aid for Class V Highways and appropriate $349.92
and set aside for this purpose. The State will con-
tribute $2,332.79.
10. To see what sum of money the Town will vote
to raise for Town Poor.
11. To see if the Town will vote to make the Tax
Collector's salary $500 per year.
12. To see what sum of money the Town will vote
to raise for Old Age Assistance.
13. To see what sum of money the Town will vote
to raise for Public Library purposes.
14. To see what sum of money the Town will vote
to raise to defray Interest charges for the ensuing
year.
15. (a) To see what sum of money the Town will
vote to raise for the upkeep of cemeteries.
(b) To see if the Town will vote to remove the
front fences, bordering the highway, of the three
cemeteries.
16. To see if the Town will vote to raise $570 for
Street Lights for the ensuing year.
17. To see if the Town will vote for a discount of
Three percent for payment of taxes, if paid within ten
days after tax bill has been presented.
18. (a) To see if the Town will vote to close the fol-
lowing road during the winters only: The Bell Hill
Road from the Lettie Leighton place, so-called, to the
Railroad crossing.
(b) No funds to be used for maintenance of
the following roads: Dewey Hill Road; Lunn Road
from Riley Lunn house to lower end of road; and
Nash Stream Road to Perkin's place.
19. To see what action the Town wants to take
about repairing Lee Hill Road. And to see if Town
will vote to raise $500 for the same.
20. To see if the Town will vote to discontinue
Percy Bridge and Percy meadow road.
21. To see if the Town will vote to allow the Se-
lectmen to appoint the Road Agent.
22. To transact any other business which may
legally come before the meeting.
