chapels ; and the ratification of the submission of the
matter to the judgment of the archbishop, which was made
on Saturday after the Invention of the Holy Cross, 1299.

apparently referring to the adjournment of the case till the
morrow of Ascension Day (May 29)].

with the assent of archb. Thurstin, to the canons of Bridling-
ton of two sheaves or 2d from each plough in the parishes of
Bridlington and Hunmanby. Interchange of prayers
