proposed appropriation of his prebend of Fenton to the
hospital of San Spirito in Sassia in Rome (no. gw). The archb.
speaks in strong terms of the number of provisions made for
foreigners in the church of York, and especially singles out
those made for the cardinal and for Bernard de Languisel,
cardinal bishop of Porto {Fasti Ebor., i, 342).^
