the Chair. The Atnuial Report was then read by
the Ap;ent; and, on motion ot George Washington,

That the thanks of this Societv are due to the
iManagors and Oflicers of the Society, for the faith-
ful dis( hargo of their duties during the past year.

That the thanks of this Society be presented
to the Picsident and Officers of the Massachu-
setts Society, to aid in the suppression of t.he
Slave Trade; for the kind assistance lent by them
to the Ao-ent of the Board in his recent visit to
New-England ; and that tliey be assured that this
Society entertain for them sentiments of high con-
sideration and esteem.
