THE TIME TO PLAN

The communications needs of every com-
mercial or industrial building and high-
rise apartment building should be consid-
ered in the early stages of planning. A
check list includes:

• Riser systems

• Raceway (underfloor ducts or cellular
floor systems)

• Telephone outlets

• Zone closets

• PBX equipment rooms

• Main terminal room

• Service from the street

Before you integrate the communica-
tions system into your basic building
plans, you will want to consult the Archi-
tects and Builders Service of your local
Bell Telephone Company.
