moved to Seabrook and died there Sept. 14, 1833 or 35. Mary
Dow Locke was said to be the mother of 18 children and to be
a pensioner of the War of Revolution.

Rockingham County. He died Aug. 18, 1834.

Seabrook and died Apl. i, 1822.

brook who d. when a young woman. He was a storekeeper in S.
and "died out in a boat." They had no children so say the fam-
ily. The census says Lowell Locke had one boy and one girl
under ten years in 1820.

F573 Lydia Locke, born in Seabrook, Feb. 3, 1770. died in
Seabrook Feb. 3, 1820, married Edward Gove, born Seabrook,
Jan. 25, 1771, son of Winthrop and Elizabeth (Ring). He
married 2nd, Widow Locke Browx, was a boat builder, and
died in Seabrook Sept. 13, 1832.

died there Dec. 15, 1845.

wood. He lived in Minnesota, died there June 22, 1875. Chil-

years, 10 months, 14 days, m., a farmer, son of Joseph and Mary).

1837 Philip Aubin, b. 1809, m. Julia Weed of Troy, N. Y., b. Jan. 2,
1825, d. Sept. 14, 1893, at Troy where she had lived since 1861.
He was in the wholesale fur trade in Boston, left much prop-
erty and died in Lexington, Mass., Sept. 16, 1861.

1839 Caroline S., b. May 1807, m. in Lynn, Mass., Nov. 9, 1834, Calvin

married 1802, Louisa SAxboRN of Seabrook, daughter of Dudley

S. and Hannah (Hook). She was born in 1776, died 1855. He

was a boat builder and mason in Seabrook and died there Dec.

JosiAH Fuller. He came from Sandown to Bristol in 18 12,
thence to New Found Lake; was a carpenter and tailor and died
about 1843.

F602 Benjamin Locke, born in Sandown, Apl. 10, 1770,
married March 17, 1796, Hannah Favor, daughter of Cutting.
She was born in Hill, Aug. 6, 1776, died in Bristol, Nov. 15, 1825.
He married 2nd, July 23, 1826, Nancy Gurdy, daughter of Jacob.
She was born March 11, 1788, died Apl. 15, 1866 (1878). He
settled in Bristol in 1790, and died there Apl. 9, 1858. Ben-
jamin lived with his uncle Thomas, built a house before marriage
which was destroyed by fire in 1822 and, although poor, he re-
built it. He was a man of character and influence. The whole
family were Methodists and at revivals, his shouts could be heard
a mile away.
