was a mason and contractor in South Boston and died at Martha's
Vineyard, June 5, 1891.

R. R., later was Secretary of Concord Building and Loan Associa- *
tion. He died Jan. 28, 1904.

F5771 Cyrus Munroe Locke, born in Chichester, Feb. 9,
1845, married Martha Amelia Chadwick, born in Randolph,
Vt., July 6, 1847, daughter of Constantine and Martha (Gilson).
He commenced railroading in 1862 on the Northern X. H. R. R.,
remained until 1876, when he settled in Toledo, Ohio. He was
engineer on a passenger train on L. S. & M. S. R. R. for eleven
years, running between Toledo and Cleveland.

He was in the wood and coal business in Concord, later went
raising stock on a ranch in Huntington, Ore., where he was killed

by a horse May 24, 1903.

(Perkins). He was chief of police in Concord many years, and
has been on State License Board since its creation.

8933 George Scott, b. Lancaster, Apl. 29, 1875, m. Fort Davis, Texas, to

Sara Fr.\nces Jane. He was city Physician of Portsmouth 1901,
then removed to Texas where he married and died Ft. Worth,

22, 1861, in Co. E. 2nd. N. H. Reg., was made Corporal in 1861,
wounded at Gettysburg 1863, was Sergeant 1864, Lieut. 1864.
He lived in Central City, Iowa and was Provost Marshall in
charge of prisoners, and was called Captain.

F5792 John Emery Locke, born Dec. 9, 1840, married June
25, 1865, Susan M. French of Leominster, Mass., born in
Woonsocket, R. L, Dec. i, 1843. He was in Co. E., Berdan's
Sharpshooters, Sept. 9, 1861-1864, then Captain of Government
Watch in Washington until the close of the war. He went to
Iowa, was admitted to the Bar in 1874 and practised in Iowa
and Missouri. Giving up the law in 1877, he returned to Moul-
tonborough and Center Harbor, was a farmer and painter. He
was in the Legislature, was postmaster of Center Harbor several
years, and died there, Oct. 8, 1900.

5th Reg. H. Art. 1863 and was disabled in 1864. He lived in
Central City, Iowa, and later engaged in real estate business in
Boston, where he died Apl. 6, 1894.
