LIBRARIES.

Individuals or Estates having valuable libraries to dispose of,
can always find a purchaser for ready money by addressing the
undersigned.

Will make arrangements to visit and examine large libraries
for sale in any section of the country, with a view to purchase.

Will buy small libraries or single volumes. Particular atten-
tion given to collections of Pamphlets. Though pamphlets are
usually little regarded, it is true that they often comprise the
most valuable portion of old libraries, and it is equally true that
libraries falling into the hands of persons unacquainted with their
value are often stripped of all that makes them desirable, solely
for the profit of the junk-man and the paper maker. Too many
instances of this kind will occur to the mind of every intelligent
book collector.

Will also purchase Coins, Medals, Antiquities, Bric-a-brac,
Arms, Armor, Engravings, Autographs, Pre-Historic Relics of
Stone and Copper, such as Axes, Tomahawks, Celts, Skinners,
Peelers, Chisels, Gouges, Wedges, Tubes, Banner-Stones, Pen-
dants, Gorgets, Amulets, Masks, Pestles,' Mortars, Discoidal
Stones, Plumb-bobs, Sling Stones, Slung Shots, Pipes, Daggers,
Spear heads, Arrow points, Bunts, Drills, Needles, Beads, Ham-
mers, Wampum, Tablets, Hoes, Spades, Sacrificial Knives, all
objects in Red Hematite, and especially all in Copper of American
origin.

Will also purchase Modern Indian Arms, Bows and Arrows,
Spears, Javelins, Knives, War Clubs, etc.

Also, all articles of curiosity from the South Sea Islands, War
Clubs, Paddles, and articles of dress or domestic use.

Consignments of all the above articles solicited for sales which
are held every few weeks in New York and Boston. Will corres.
pond on the subject with parties interested.

Correspondents will please address their favors from October 23,
to November 3, care of Messrs. Bangs & Co., 739 Broadway, New
York City.
