the Lake View Baptist church in Chicago, 111., and assistant editor of the

Daniel'^), son of Capt. William and Polly (Tarr) Thurston of Glouces-
ter, now Rockport, Mass. ; born there Dec. r, 1808 ; married, first,
Rh(jda Kinsman ; she died May 11, 1845. Second, June 15, 1846,
by Rev. J. S. Eaton, Jane Plummer, born Aug. 15, 1814, daughter
of Moses and Abigail (Smith) Plummer of Portland, Me. He was
an enterprising ship master in Portland for more than thirty years,
having the charge of a vessel at the age of nineteen ; died Feb. 9,
i860 * She resides in Portland.

3128 George Henry,'' b. July 28, 1838; a clerk in Boston, Mass.; n.m. ; enlisted

3130 Charles Augustus,' b. March 15, 1842; a ship broker in Boston, firm of Wil-

liam H. Kinsman & Co. ; since in Louisville, Ky. ; m., Oct. 6, 1864, Jo-
sephene A. Parker of Boston ; no children living.

3131 Henrietta Maria,' b. July 10, 1848; m., July 8, 1867, Calvin Warren, a fancy

goods dealer in Biddeford, Me.; a farmer in Denmark, Me., 1879. He
enlisted in the ist Me. cavalry in the war against the rebellion; she d.
Sept. 28, 1870.

Y., born in Johnstown, N. Y., April 2, 1804 ; married, in Pleasant
Valley, N. Y., Sept. 18, 1832, Hannah Miller, born June 25, 1808,
daughter of Frederick and Roxana (Leslie) Miller of North Creek,
N. Y. He was a farmer in Mayfield, N. Y., and member of the Bap-
tist church. Moved to Lake Forest, III, where he died Dec. 11,
1877 ; she died Sept. 17, 1885.
