Thurston of Eaton, N. H. ; born there April 5, 1812 ; married, Oct.,
1838, Elizabth Walker Snell, born March 28, 1814, daughter of
William Snell of Eaton; she died Sept. 11, 1881. He was a farmer
in Eaton, adjoining the homestead, till 1864, when he moved to a
farm in Madison, N. H. ; captain of a military company many years,
member of the Free Baptist church and clerk of it twenty-five years,
selectman in both Eaton and Madison, representative to the legisla-
ture 1875-76, a strong temperance man, not using tobacco ; died
Sept. 17, 1888.

Jason and Maria (Draper) Gleason of Brimfield, Mass. She died

He was a farmer in Pelham and Enfield, Mass., and accumulated
quite a fortune ; selectman, representative to the legislature in 1842-
43, held most of the minor offices in Pelham ; " a man of strict in-
tegrity, died without an enemy."

Me. She died in Oxford, Me., June 18, 1858; he was a farmer in
Norway and Oxford, Me., a Methodist, served in the war of 18 12,
died in Sherburne, Mass., 1872.
