THIS publication is intended to be issued yearly. The
present first edition, with its numerous inevitable
mistakes and omissions, though it has been submitted for
correction to one or more members of every class, is sent
out simply as proof for revision. An urgent request is
made upon all graduates and friends of the University to
cooperate with the editor in correcting the list, and keeping
it corrected to date. The first requisite is for every alumnus
to see that his own address is correct ; the second is for him
to correct the defective addresses of his classmates and
others, and, in all cases, to supply street and number where
they are a necessary part of the address.
This request is made the more earnestly since it is
hoped to publish in June 1895 ^ ^^^ General Catalogue
in English, or Five-Year Book of the University, including
both deceased and living graduates, with a condensed
statement of the professional and literary career of each.
All communications should be addressed to
The Librarian of Brown University,
P. O. Box 109, PROVIDENCE, R. I.
ADDRESSES OF GRADUATES,
Professional titles are given, but tlegrees have in all cases been omitted.
