Porter's School, Farmington, Conn. Her marriage was in the old
First Presbyterian Church, Henr>- Street, Brookh-n. by the Rev.
Charles Cuthbert Hall, assisted by the Rev. Charles H. Parkhurst.

After marriage they lived for six years in New York and then
moved to Bryn Mawr, Pa. In 1905 they bought their present fine
home at Ardmore, Pa., "Clovelly," where they live with their
three sons.

Mrs. Ludington has traveled a good deal abroad, and is a
very bright, talented and accomplished woman.

Mr. Ludington is a son of the late Charles Henry and Jose-
phine Lord (Noyes) Ludington of New York City. His great-
grandfather. Col. Henry Ludington, fought in the Revolutionary
War. He was educated at St. Paul's School, Concord, N. H.. and
Yale University, class of '87 ; Post-Graduate Department, Political

Science, '88 ; Yale Law School, '89. In '89 he received the degree
of M. A., and soon after entered the law office of Anderson & How-
land, N. Y. C. A little later he entered the law office of Carey &
Whittridge. In 1S91 he was admitted to the Bar of New York State.
In ilay, 1901, he became Secretary and Treasurer of the Curtis
Publishing Company of Philadelphia, Pa. Res., Ardmore, Pa.
