Conrad Hogmire settled in Frederick County, Md., prior to 1753
and was a member of the Committee, 1775, to raise minute
men for the colony. He was a member of St. Paul's church,
Clear Springs, Md., and in 17,98 his will was probated. The
following year his four sons went to Genesee County to de-
velop 13,000 acres of land that he had purchased. He was
born in Germany ; died in Maryland.

Elisha Farnum (1756-1835) was placed on the pension roll of
Portage County, Ohio, 1831, for service as private in the
Massachusetts militia. He was born in Lyme, Conn. ; died in
Deerfield, Ohio.

Simeon Granger (1728-1815) served as a private in the militia.
He was born in Suffield, Conn. ; died in Sandersfield, Mass.

Samuel Craig served as a commissary during the Revolution.
In 1777 he left Fort Ligonier, Pa., in quest of supplies and
was supposed to have been killed by the Indians.

John Craig (1753-1850) enlisted as a private, 1775; was pro-
moted lieutenant, 1777, of the 4th regiment, Pennsylvania
Light Dragoons, and, 1778, rose to the rank of captain and
served until the close of the war. In 1818 applied for a pen-
sion, which was granted. He was born in New Jersey; died
in Pennsylvania.
