fourme folowing : ffirst I bequeath my soule to allmyghty god and to

wills. The date of the month seems to be an error.

267. William Hoon of Purbright.

16 April, 1488. ' In Dei nomine Amen the xvi day of April [in the
yere of our] lord god Mcccclxxxviii. I William Hoon of Purbright in
the diocese of Winchestre make, ordein & dispose my testament & last
will in maner & four me folewing : ffirst I bequeth my soule to allmyghty
god my maker & saviour, to our blissed lady his moder mary & to all
the company of hevyn & my body to be buried in the chirch yerd of
Purbright aforseid. Also I bequeth to the moder church of Winchestr
mid. Also I bequeth to the chirch of Worplusdon all my lede. Also
to the chapell of our lady of the same parish a spruse cofer. Also I
bequeth to the chirch of Purbright all my old yren. The Residue of all
my goods I geve & bequeth to Ric. Cook to bring me in erth, to pay
my dettes & to dispose for my soule. which Ric. Cook I make my
executour of this my testament : being present John Clifton [?] Edward
