. . Mcflenry given to Vinfry as a middle name is probably indicative that either Abijah' s

mother or Ruth's mother was a ' McHenry' . Vinfry passed the name on to son, William

McHenry. The use of family names as middle names was common by the residents of the

Appalachian Mountain states

. . (044) Abijah was living in Kentucky when Emily was born. The 1850IA Census shows a

Meary Meansley(13) & Elias McGee(10)(in 1856 16IL) living with the Smiths & may be

grandchildren. In 1850 his real estate was valued at $500.

..(045) Suth was listed as insane in 1850 Census & as an invalid in 1870.

. (046) Thomas Sr. according to daughter's, Sarah, obituary died when she was three years
3ld. Perhaps a coincidence, a Thomas Vilkinson was buried 13FEB1833 at age 27 in the
/ildwood Cemetery at Villiamsport , Lycoming County, Pennslyvania with military honors.

f our Thomas, the dates are close but the location is hundreds of miles from Greene
;ounty although there were many Wilkinsons in Lycoming County.

. (047) Hatilde after the death of Thomas Sr. moved with Hunt relatives to Morgantown
irea of Monongalia Co., Virginia(W) in 1834. In 1853, she moved to Iowa with second
lusband, Henry Baker. 1882 Clayton Co. lA History states that she was born in
^reensburg, PA but suspect writer meant Greensboro in Greene County.

. (047-2) Thomas Jr. may have been the same Thomas 'Vilkerson', 18 born PA, found living
'ith George (080- 1-1) & Elizabeth (Hunt) (094-6) Hansel in 1850 Mallory Twp., Clayton Co. lA
■ensus. Elizabeth was his aunt. He evidently returned to Monongalia County, Vest
