CIRCULARS.

The Instructional Circulars which have from circixars.
time to time been issued by the Poor Law
Commissioners, relating to the administration
of the Poor Law, the Medical Charities Act,
the Vaccination Acts, Burial Grounds Acts,
and Sanitary Acts, are very numerous ; many
of them related to matters of mere temporary-
operation, while others have become obsolete
owing to changes in the Law which have
taken place since they were issued. It would
be impossible to include the whole of those
Circulars within the present volume without
greatly and inconveniently extending its bulk,
which has already exceeded the limits origin-
ally contemplated. The plan adopted, there-
fore, has been to select those Circulars which
have immediate reference to the General
Orders of the Commissioners, and to print
them in connexion with the Orders to which
they respectively relate; and to give in
addition a complete list of all general Cir-
culars issued by the Commissioners since the
passing of the Irish Poor Relief Extension
Act, \^dth a reference to the Annual Report

parts of this work, and the following table

Instructional Circulars issued by the Com-
miseicaiers since the passing of the Ifkh Poor
