Ireland to New Zealand in 1924 and settled in Hastings. ROBERT m 1st on

Nellie was the sister of Winifred Martha Harper who m JOSEPH ARRELL.

Zealand. ALLEN m on 6 Mar 1948 to Gwendoline Joyce Trendellat

Hastings N.Z. Gwendoline was b 19 Feb 1925 at Hastings, N.Z. She

was known as Gwen. Gwen was the daughter of Mary Blair Griggs and

Frederick Charles Trendell. Mary was b 9 Jul 1896 and Frederick was

b 21 May 1895. They were m 17 Feb 1919 at Southend-on-Sea, Essex,

England. Mary immigrated to New Zealand, as a war bride, following

WW I. Her father was b in Croydon, London, England and immigrated

to New Zealand at an early age but returned to England with the New

Merit for many years of involvment in the Scout Movement. The couple

during his banking career. He was a leader in the Scout Movement

1980. WILLIAM m on 7 Oct 1932 to Henrietta Patton at St. Matthews,

Shanhill. Henrietta was known as 'Hetty'. Henrietta was b 14 Sep 1914 and

was a weaver. She was the daughter of Henry Patton, a yam bundler. She

was living at 54 Disraeli Street, Belfast when they married. WILLIAM

joined the British Army when he was a young man. He served under the

regiment "The Royal Enniskillen Fusilers" where he attained the rank of

Serg't Instructor. He was a Pipe Major of the Regiment's Military Band.

WILLIAM received medals for pole jumping in the sports field. He was

stationed in Malta during part of his military career and served in action

during WW II. WILLIAM served in the military for 18 years. Following his

military service he worked as a bus conductor, bus driver and bricklayer and

devoted himself to his wife and family. The couple lived at 93 Belvoir

Church, Shankill. Norman was an electric welder, the son of James

Chambers. He was from Feenanmore, Moneymore. MINNIE was a

stitcher when she married The family resided at 29 Bridger Street,

Moneymore, County Londonderry. They had four daughters: 1)

Arma, b 1961 and m Mervyn Bayne of Cookstown. They had one

son, Norman, and resided in Jordanstown, Newtownabbey, County

David, bom circa 1945, was an apprentice fitter when he m and lived

at Tavanagh St., Belfast, the son of James McCreanor. David

became a police inspector. They had: 1) David, b 1965. In 1991

David resided in Aberdeen, 2) Carol Ann, b 1967. In 1990 Carol

2-11-3-4 WILHELMINA ARRELL, b 17 Feb 1945 at Belfast. She was

known as WILMA'. She m on 22 Jul 1972 to Samuel Davidson at

the Church of the Transfiguration, Belvoir, Belfast. Samuel, b circa

1944, was an engineer, the son of Arthur Davidson, a bricklayer. He

was living at 28 Tyndale Gardens, Belfast, when they married.

WILMA was a senior secretary for Cameo, Limited, a subsidiary of

Cameo in Houston, Texas. She travelled with the Cameo team to

Russia, Germany and London, England on contract negotiations.

WILMA was then an office manager for the Joinery Manufacturing

Company. Samuel was a technical director of Universal Business

Machines prior to establishing his own business in 1976, the Joinery

Manufacturing Company, located in Camckfergus. WILMA enjoyed

horseback riding and Sam belonged to a Clay Pigeon and Fishing

Club. They had: 1) Samuel, b 24 Jan 1974. Samuel attended Belfast

High School (1983-1990) and enjoyed fishing and shooting. He was

a member of the Sub Aqua Diving Club. In 1990 he was a diesel

Belfast, when he married. Deborah, b circa 1950, was the daughter
of Samuel Robinson, a fitter. She was living at 13 Bumside Road,
North, Carrickfergus. WILLIAM became a police sergeant with the

Portadown Hospital. She trained as a midwife at Jubilee Maternity
Hospital, Belfast. She received her Diploma in Nursing from Queen's
University, Belfast in 1978. She was the ward sister at Lurgan Hospital
for seven years until she emigrated to the United States m 1979.
DONNA was employed in the United States from 1979 until 1982 at the
Deborah Heart and Lung Center, New Jersey. She returned to Northern
Ireland in 1982. In 1993 DONNA was a nursing officer in the Erne
Hospital, Enniskillen.
2-11-4-4 WILLIAM ALLOWAY ARRELL, b 15 Mar 1945 at Drumlamph,
County Londonderry. He was known as "BILL". BILL m on 24 Sept
1964 to Shirley McKeown at the Cathedral of Clogher. Shirley, b circa
1948, was living in Knocknacanney, Clogher. Shirley was nanny to
Lord Moyola's children before she married. WILLIAM was a lorry
driver. The family emigrated to Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada on 16 May
1973. They first stayed with their uncle, Robert Dawson. On 19 Jul
1973 WILLIAM started as a truck driver. He soon purchased his own
truck and started hauling for himself The family relocated to
Edmonton, Alberta in 1987. In 1990 they moved to Kelowna, British

2-11-4-6 RHODA JENNIFER EILEEN ARRELL, b 19 Nov 1948 at
Drumlamph. RHODA attended Nursing College at Coleraine. She m on
19 Aug 1969 to Brian Kenneth Wylie at the Magherafelt Presbyterian
Church. Brian was a lorry driver, the son of Alfred Wylie, a lorry
driver's helper, when they married. RHODA became a District Nurse in
Magherafelt. They resided near Magherafelt. They had: 1) Karen, b 26

2-11-4-7 MAURICE ROBERT DAWSON ARRELL, b 16 Apr 1951 at
