Willson, Samuel, Resignation dated Shelbume, Jan. 24, 1780, signed by said
Willson, stating that he had been appointed 2d Lieutenant, Capt. John Wells's
CO., Col. David Field's (5th Hampshire Co.) regt.. May 3, 1776, and that on
account of ill health he desired to resign his commission ; certificate signed by
Lieut. Col. David Wells, certifying that said Willson was infirm and unable
to serve, appears on resignation ; ordered in Coimcil March 22, 1780, that the
resignation be accepted.
