serve in the Continental Army; Capt. Peters's co. ; age, 26 yrs. ; stature, 5 ft.
6 in. ; complexion, dark; engaged for town of Medfield; delivered to En.sign
Theopliilus Clark ; also, list of men returned as received of Maj. Stephen Bad-
lam, Superintendent for Suffolk Co., by Justin Ely, Commissioner, certified at
Springfield, Sept. 20, 1779.

let's regt.; entered service Aug. 20, 1780; discharged Oct. 31, 1780; service,
2 mos. 16 days, at Rhode Island, including 4 days (75 miles) travel home ; regi-
ment detached to reinforce Continental Army for 3 months.
