with equipments, dated June 10, 1776 ; age, 37 yrs. ; reported detached May
27 [1776]; also, list of men belonghig to Capt. Sabin ISIann's co. drafted to
march to Rliode Island aiul there serve for 1 calendar montli at or near Bristol,
in accordance with a warrant from Lieut. Col. Benjamin Hawes dated \Yren-
tham, July 14, 1777, and by order of Brig. Lovell ; reported hired Joseph
Hodgesdle [ '.'] to serve in his place ; also, list dated Sept. 16, 1777, of men
belonging to Capt. Mann's co. drafted to complete the quota for the Continen-
tal Army, but who j)aid money in lieu of service ; said Turner reported as
having paid £15. ■
