R. I., under command of Lieut. Col. Nathan Tyler, on the alarm of Dec. 8,
1776.

Warrin, John. Private, Capt. Edmund Brigham's co.. Col. Job Cushing's regt. ;
service, 5 days ; horse rations allowed said Warrin ; company ordered to be
mounted if possible and marched Aug. 21, 1777, to reinforce Northern army
at request of Gun. Stark and Gen. Lincoln, proceeded to Hadley, and was
there counter-ordered ; roll sworn to in Worcester Co. ; also, list of men be-
longing to Capt. Brigham's co. [year not given], showing service rendered at
various places and fines paid in lieu of service, etc. ; said Warrin credited
with 2 mos. service at Dorchester and 3 mos. service at Ticonderoga.

Upton, June 30, 1777, signed by said Warrin, in behalf of himself, Stephen
Warren, and Eleazer Flagg, for money due for 3 mos. 13 days .service, respec-
tively, in Capt. Nelson's co. ; also, Private, Capt. Joseph Warrin's co., in a
regiment commanded by Lieut. Col. Wlieelock ; enlisted Sept. 27, 1777 ; dis-
charged Oct. 23, 1777 ; service, 1 mo. 3 daj's, with Northern army, including
8 days (1.50 miles) travel home ; company raised for 30 days service ; roll sworn
