An index to the eight volumes of the manuscript Journals of the House of
Representatives of the Province of New Hampshire was published in 1890. Vol-

ume one begins with the year 1711 and volume eight ends with the dissolution of
the Provincial Government in 1775.
This volume is a continuation of the work, and is an index of volumes nine, ten,
eleven, and twelve of the manuscript Journals in the office of the secretary of
state.
These volumes include the proceedings of the Provincial Congi-esses of 1775 and
of the House of Representatives from January 5, 1776, to April 17, 1784.
The Journals of the House of Representatives under the constitution of 1784,
from June session, 1784, to the close of the year 1792, are published in the State
Papers, Volumes XX, XXI, XXII.
