An important part of each year's activities are those of the two
glee clubs. Since the organization of the first one, several years
ago, the membership has grown constantly until now there are two
groups. Miss Saunders, the director, has been tireless in her
efforts, and it is to her that credit should be given for the present
organizations.

Among the prominent organizations on the campus are the
orchestra and band under the direction of Mrs. Aultman Sanders
and Dr. W. M. Mebane. Long years from now we feel sure that
room 41 and the third floor rooms will come to life and testify to
the many chords and dischords sounded within their walls. But
be it recorded that no activity on the campus is complete, whether
it be athletics, dramatics, or music, without some members of the
musical organizations participating.

FOOTBALL
COACH FAULKINBERRY
The past football season brought the most trying schedule ever tackled by a Blue and
White team, but after a season replete with bad breaks, a fine ending was made
against the University of Miami, in Florida, December 3, 1932.
Games were won from U. T. Juniors, 18-7; Union University, 14-7; West Tennessee
Teachers, 6-0; and Florida, 7-0. Games lost were: Sewanee, 12-0; Maryville, 12-6;
Chattanooga, 26-0; West Kentucky, 21-7; Murray, 7-6; and T. P. I., 32-6.

BASKETBALL TEAMS
The varsity five, although suffering numerous setbacks through
the midseason, innproved with the close; and rang down the final
curtain with victories over Cumberland, Murray, T. P. I., and West
Tennessee Teachers. The final record shows nine victories against
seven losses.
The graduation of hiindman, Kerr, hlolt, and hlolden will hurt the
team rather severely next year. hHowever "Butch" Young, who was
recognized as one of the outstanding Southern players, will play
again next year.
