Where as that the towne of Hemsted hath Requested By Col'
Isaac Hicks that ye Towne of oyster bay might Joyne with them in
Vewing Runing & Establishing ye Line betwene Said Towns acord-
ing as it was formerly agreed and Concluded on by Said Townes by
Chuseing three men To Joyne with three of hemsted men to Effect
ye Same

To the Constable of oysterbay or his Debty greeting you are
hereby required in his majesties name to notifie and warne Every
freeholder within ye Towne Shipe and patten of oyster bay above
Said to appear at ye Towne house one Satter Day by ten of ye Clok
ye Second Day of november in order to Elect three Men for ye
runing or Establishing a Line as above Said and make Returne how
you Execute this precepte prescepts & in So Doing this Shall be to
youe Soficent warrant

of ye Township of oysterbay In Queens County one ye Island of
Nassaw In ye Colony of new York yeoman ffor and In Considera-
tion of one Ceartain peice or parcell of Land to me In present pos-
session Delivered be for ye Ensealing & Delivery of these presents
By Jonas Greene of ye Towne Ship of oysterbay afore Said Cord-
wainder as [may] more att Large appeare by a deed of Sail for ye
Same bearing Even Datte With these presents The Recept Whereof
we ye S'' James Doughty & Isaac Doughty do hereby acknoledge and
my Selfe theirewith fully Satisfied Contented and paid and theire
of and of Every part & parcell theirof do Exonrate Acquitt & fully
discharge ye Jonas Greene his heirs Executors & administra[tors]
fforever by these presents Have Given Granted bargained Sold
Alienated Enfeoffe[d] Asured Conveyed & Confifirmed & by these
presents we ye Said James Doughty [and] Isaac Doughty Do fully
Ifreely fully Clearly and Absolutly Give grante bargain Sell Alien-
ate Enffeoffe assure Convey and Conffirm Unto ye Said Jona[s]
Greene his heirs & assignes for ever all that of one Cartain peice
or parcall of Land Scitu[a]te Lying & being near Littleworth So
Called within ye paten and Township of oyste[r] Bay bounded one
ye East End by ye Highway yt Leads from Garvis Mudges To
Isaac Doughtys & one ye South Side by Elias Smith Land & one ye
north Side by ye path that now Leads from Jonas Greens House to
ye S'^ James Doughty and to Extend so far west ward as to Contain
Three Acres of Land with all ye timber trees grases or what Else is
Standing Groing or becoming Due Upon ye Same To have and to
hold all and Singluar ye S'^ Granted and Bargained Land and prem-
ises with their and Every of their appurtences Priviledgse & Com-
moditis to ye Same belonging or in any wise appeartaing to him ye
Said Jonas greene his heirs and assignes for Ever More to his &
their only proper Use benefitt and behoofe forever and we ye S*^
James Doughty & Isacc Doughty for us & our Selves Executors and
Administrators Do Covenant promise grant & agree to and with ye
Said Jonas greene his heirs & Assignes yt befor ye Ensealing we are
ye True Soles & Lawfull owners of ye Above Bargained premises
and are Lawfully Seized And possesed of ye Same In our owne
proper Right as a good perfect and absolut Estate of Inheritance &
