Thomas Whitson has laid out to his right in all ye purchase about
1051 A. 3Q''. 19^'^ of land so that ye Powells must have forty acres
yet laid out to their right to be equal with Thomas Whitson before
any general division be made

Laid out to Thomas Whitson Jun' on his right in the North
part of the purchase a piece of brushey plain land lying the East
side of Mannatto hill hollow Northeasterly from Richard Powells
house and joyning the Northwest side of Amos Powells land N°
78 and joyning to part of the South end of the lot N° 79— (p. 45)—
and beginning at a corner of the last lot at the place marked with
the letter A in ye general map and thence running by ye lot N° 78
South fifty one degrees West eighty seven rods to a piece of land
laid out to James Smith and thence by said Smith's land North forty
eight degrees West to the highway that leads from Richard Powells
house up Mannatt hill hollow about forty six rods and thence up
the highway North forty five degrees and one quarter East thirty
four rods and thence continuing up the East side of the highway
North forty degrees East fifty one rods and one half and thence
South forty eight degrees East sixty rods to the first bounds Con-
taining twenty seven Acres three quarters and thirty six square
rods of land see in the general map the situation laid out be (by)

(this year Anno 1756) the other part of the lot laid out to Lawrence
Lessee under Amos Powells right in page 103 where the whole is
described situate on the Brushey Plains near Mannatto hill hollow
Northward of the Country Road as may appear by the map laid
out by me

Note that Thomas Whitson Jun*" sold all his lands and rights
of undivided lands to Daniel Coe, the said Coe sold the one fifth
part of his lands and right to James Nostran and then Coe dyes,
and orders his lands to be sold The Executors sells his lands to
Theodorus Colyer, so that Theodorus Colyer is possessed of ye
four fifth parts of Tho^ Whitsons right in common and James
Nostran the one fifth part of said right in common

to the Eastward and Southward by a lot N° 64 formerly laid out to

ner of William Carpenters land N° 64 and thence running by his
land South thirty degrees West forty rods to his Southeast corner
and thence by his said land West five degrees and one quarter North
about sixty one rods to Richard Powells lot N° 101 in page 130 and
thence by his lot South thirteen degrees West to the lot N° 60 near
ye Northwest corner a little Eastward therefrom and thence by
that lot South fifty three degrees East about ten rods and one half
to James Nostran's land N° 63 and thence Northerly and Easterly
by the same to the Northeast corner thereof joyning to the lot N°
62 and also joyning to a piece of land belonging to Richard Powells
N° 102 and thence by Richards land North thirty seven degrees East
to the Baiting Place purchase which is the Northeast corner of this
tract or piece, and then beginning again at Carpenters Northeast
corner and running North eighty degrees East nine rods and three
quarters to the Baiting Place purchase and thence South twenty
eight degrees and three quarters East until it comes to the other
continued line at the Northeast corner of this piece, comprehending
within the bounds twenty five acres and seventy sq' rods of land

said corner North eighty degrees East nine rods and three quarters
to the Baiting Place purchase and thence North seven degrees and
one half East forty rods thence North ten degrees and one half East
thirty seven rods and thence North seventy three degrees and one
quarter West one hundred and fifty three rods to the lot N° 69 and
thence by that lot South seventeen degrees West seventy five rods
(as it measures) thence South twenty one degrees East twenty one

half West until it meets or comes to the land of Richard Powell
entered in page 130 being the Southwest corner of this piece And
then beginning again a William Carpenters Northeast corner

dred and four rods to the Northwest corner of Carpenters lands
and thence by his land South twenty degrees West about eighty
one rods and one half to the Southside of Carles Path where it meets
Richard Powell's land and thence West twenty degrees North four
rods and thence South twenty degrees West twenty seven rods and
thence West twenty degrees North until it comes to the lot N° 69
where the other continued line meets this line at the Southwest
corner of this piece where it joyns to Richard Powells land con-
taining eighty three acres one half and twenty one rods of land
