the Hills Beginning at a corner of the lott N° 45 being a South
corner of the same at a red oak sapling and thence running South
forty two degrees East twelve rods and one half and thence South
sixty two degrees East one hundred and eighty rods nearly and
thence North thirty five degrees and one half East about
five rods and thence North twenty rods and thence North thirty
five degrees and one third East eleven rods to David Whitsons
lands and thence North sixty two degrees West one hundred and
seventy three rods and one half to the lot N° 45 and thence by that
lot as the course — (p. 58) — now poynts South forty eight degrees
West thirty two rods and ten links to the first bounds Including
within the bounds thirty eight acres one quarter and four sq"" rods
of land

the highway from his house that goes up Northward, The first
bounds is on ye East side of the road, Beginning at the Northwest
corner of the lot N° 13 and thence running as the Course now poynts
South eighty degrees East twenty four rods and thence North fifty
eight degrees East seven rods and thence North thirty six degrees
and one half East fourteen rods and nineteen links and thence
North forty five degrees East fifty six rods and one half and thence
South seventy seven East twenty six rods and nineteen links to a
red oak tree at the Northeast corner of N° 16 and thence continu-
ing the same course three rods and eighteen links to a stake thence
North eighteen degrees East forty six rods to a Chestnut Bush
thence North thirty eight degrees East fifty two rods and ten links
of chain thence North forty one degrees West thirty six rods and
eighteen links of chain to Thomas Powell's land and thence by his
land South thirty four degrees and one third West thirty four
rods and eighteen links thence South sixty two degrees — (p. 59) —
West twenty one rods and one half and thence South twenty de-
grees West eight rods and on half and thence North seventy nine
degrees and one half West twenty one rods and one half to the
highway (from Thomas Pearsalls house to David Whitsons house)

cludes two lots N° 146 containing twenty five acres and ninty two

four degrees and one half East eighty rods and thence South thirty
six degrees and three quarters West forty three rods and thence
South fifty degrees and one quarter East one hundred and nine-
teen rods and one half to the Southeast corner and thence North
thirty two degrees and one quarter East fifty nine rods to John
Powells land and thence North fifty four degrees and a quarter
West one hundred and ninty five rods and thence South twenty
eight degrees and one half West thirty five rods and two thirds to

quarter West twenty seven rods and five links of chain and thence
North fifty degrees West twelve rods and seven links of chain to a
highway thence continuing the same course three rods across the
end of the highway and thence North forty six degrees and one
half West one hundred and one rods and nine links of chain and
thence South forty three degrees and one half West seven rods
and five links and thence North eighty degrees West thirty seven

Southward of Richard Powell's house joyning to the West side of
the highway leading from said Richard Powells to Rowland Pear-
sails Beginning at the Northeast corner thereof being ninty two
rods Southward of the Country Road by Richard Powell's house
thence rainging North eighty seven degrees and a half West to the
Southeast corner by said Richard Powells Plain field thence run-
ning the same course sixty seven rods and a half to a stake in the
brow in the hill thence South thirty eight degrees West forty one
rods thence South thirteen degrees and a half West twenty five
rods and a quarter thence South eighty seven degrees East through
to the aforesaid highway, — [p. 32] — thence by the said highway
North twenty two degrees East sixty six rods to the place of begin-
ning Containing within the said bounds fifty two acres and one

until it strikes the road from Richard's to Rowland's four rods and
a quarter Northward of Joshua Powells Plain hay path thence run-
ning North twenty two degrees East fifty five rods thence on a
straight line Northwestwardly to the first bounds containing within
said bounds fifteen acres and twelve rods Recorded by order of
