Here he resided, and died in 1851, of the cholera.

27, 1S97.

He was born on the plantation of his grandmother, Mrs.
Judge Brockerbrough, near Richmond, Va. He entered the
U. S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, Md., at the age of 16,
and joined the Confederate Army later. He studied law with
Isaac Jordan and settled in Covington, Ky,, the home of his
father.

In 1879 he was Judge of Kenton Co., Ky.
